2009 TFC Team Challenge Qualifying Results
New 2010 Rules for Your Advanced Planning: - Overall Fastest Team will now include the top three women
and top three men's times in both the corporate and club categories. (One men's relay can be
substituted for an individual male, and one female or mixed team relay can be substituted for an individual female or individual
male. Only one relay can qualify) - Introducing
New "Fastest Women" and "Fastest Men" team challenge which will include the top four individual "female"
and "male" times in both the club and corporate categories. Have fun planning for the 2010 challenge!!

Award: Brookfield Central (Two Time Winner) High School Fastest Girls and Fastest Boys Team Category: We had over 20 high schools represented
this year, but no team qualified for fastest female team or fastest male team for the top three finishers. Encourage
the high school students to come out for this honor next year. Thanks for being part of team spirit at Tri-ing for Children's Triathlon Wisconsin and see you in
2009.
To set up your team, just
go to our registration page on Active.com, and pick the "Create a Team" button right on the top. Then have
all your team members choose your team from the drop down menu when they individually register. (Let us know
if a team member registered early and now wants to join your team for the competitions...No problem. Just shoot us an
email with their name and team name, and we'll add them in.) High school students just need to enter the
name of their school, and they'll be auto assigned. However, if a high school student wants to join in on a club or corporate
team, please have them choose that team from the drop down.
Team Rules

will compete to earn a trophy in the following categories:
- Fastest Overall Male and Overall
Female Triathlete: Awarded to the winners of the Olympic Distance for their effort to take on this distance
and support Tri-ing for Children's race. (Note, this recognition award is in addition to the race awards provided by
Race Day Events who recognizes all the place winners for each race distance and age group.)
. -Team Spirit Trophy: Given in each the
high school, club and corporate team category based on participation, fund raising efforts, and overall spirit. .
- Fastest Team Trophy:
High School Team Challenge: The winning team will be the team with the lowest combined time for
the top three triathletes/relay teams in each a boys and a girls category, from one high school.
(Any distance can be used for the High School Team Challenge as scores will be equalized to a Olympic Distance basis
with the time for Half Sprint and Sprint triathletes multiplied by an increasing factor). - Corporate Team Challenge: The winning team will be the team with the lowest combined time for the top five triathletes/relay
teams. Recognition will also be given for the second and third place team in each category. (Any distance for
the Corporate Team Challenge can be used as scores will be equalized to the Olympic Triathlon basis with the time for
Half Sprint and Sprint triathletes multiplied by a increasing factor to equate to an Olympic distances (see factors above),
(Scores can include no more than two relay teams, no more than two individual males, and not more than one relay team with
two or more male athletes.)
- Club Team Challenge: The winning team will be the team with the lowest
combined time for the top five triathletes/relay teams. Sprint and Olympic distance races can be used, with adjusting
factors (see above) to equalize
to an Olympic distance overall time (no SuperSprint distance times can be included). Recognition
will also be given for the second and third place team in each category. (Scores can include no more than one relay
team, no more than two individual males.)
